About the Department: The Department of Mathematics was started as one of the earliest departments in Siga College of Management and Computer Science, Kappiyampuliyur B.Sc., and M.Sc., Mathematics programs were started in the year 2008. The department has qualified faculty members actively engaged in teaching and research.

Vision: To produce graduates with capabilities of Academic and Professional competence and to nurture the emerging fields of research with knowledge based society, thereby developing skill towards innovation leading to international alliances and collaborations to meet National Agenda.

Mission: To serve Society by preparing Under Graduate and Post Graduate Students for professional practice as Mathematics Teachers and Scientists by providing continuing education opportunities for practicing Mathematicians and by making Original contributions to the Mathematical Sciences.
